ABOUT ST. JOHN-HILL ACADEMY

Head of School's Welcome,
On behalf of the St. John-Hill community, thank you for visiting our website.
St. John-Hill Academy is a special place, and it all begins with our mission:
The St. John-Hill Academy strives for quality education and total formation of the learners growing in love and friendship of the Almighty.
Thus, harmonious relationships exist among us through acceptance of one another, respect, confidence, and affection.
SJHA just started with the tutorial service among the kids in the neighborhood. It has been affiliated with the National Federation of Women's Club of the Philippines (N.F.W.C.) in 1996 which later as the increase in population has been foreseen. The school administration has started the opening of Pre-school up to Grade 4. And as years passed by, the Elementary Level has been completed as well as the Secondary Level until now.
Presently, the school has adopted the DepEd K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum. Thus, the learners will be able to find work/job after their Senior High School and they can compete globally as well since they are really competent in their own skills.
St. John-Hill Academy provides an enriched learning environment that has helped countless students learn, develop and grow. Our unparalleled curriculum and teaching methods help students take the next step in their education and approach the future with confidence.
St. John as the baptizer always appears that self-immersion always points to as an innovation. Thus, this institution always aims to build the nation's future leaders through prophetic inspiration and authority which enable the learners to perceive and affirm levels of presence in everyday life. He has called the people to a life of righteousness before our Creator.
We have the privilege of teaching bright and curious students from Morong and the surrounding areas and beyond. If you’re new to our community and would like to learn more about our values, academics, teaching staff, or anything else, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Sincerely,
Dr. Dowee R. Garrovillas, RMT, LPT, MA Ed. Ad., CSPE

SJHA Logo
The school logo represents a DOVE, SHEEP, CROSS, and a BANNER.
-
DOVE - represents the Holy Spirit, who advocates peaceful relationships and solutions to any conflict, problem, or misunderstanding that arises, as well as living in the spirit, which means using His gifts well. To make important and fair decisions, we should always seek His guidance.
-
SHEEP - a group of people who come together to gather. This is a representation of the students who are cared for by the noble providers and administrators. The faculty serve as MODELS and MENTORS to the students under their supervision.
-
CROSS - is a symbol of suffering or tribulation that one must bear. He, like St. John, had endured many tribulations in order to demonstrate how much he loved the Lord. As administrators and teachers, we must demonstrate and demonstrate to parents that we, too, must bear all of their children's actions and reactions in order to demonstrate that we truly care and are concerned about them.
-
BANNER - Our school flag is depicted on the banner. It is a piece of cloth attached to a pole or staff that serves as a symbol of our school's identity.
SJHA Hymn
St. John, The Baptist our beloved saint, we beseech thee.
Inspire us to be the torch that will inflame
Fervor, zeal, and humility amidst fame
In our hearts as we abide by God's creed.
Let us all gather and come together
Let the words we speak and the lives we live
Say much about the Lord we love
A reflection on His face above.
Chorus:
St. John, you never let us wander in the night
Wherever we tread you give us the path of light
Help us each day to reach our goal
To honor God's name and nourish our soul
Whenever we're tired and feeling weak
Remind us, we still have your blessing to receive
God has called us to give our best
Our gifts and talents to thee we rest
Nothing's more precious than showing love to the lost
No matter how much it may cost.
(Repeat Chorus)
Our History

St. John-Hill Academy is a non-sectarian school founded in 1996 under the National Federation of Women's Club of the Philippines (N.F.W.C.)
In 1997, Pre-school Department was opened with 42 students. The Academic Year 1997 - 1998 witnessed the expansion of the school through the primary level in response to the request of the parents whose children were enrolled in the Nursery and Kindergarten of the same year.
Simultaneously, the Intermediate level has been approved by the Department of Education (DepEd). St. John-Hill Academy had a total enrollment of 105 students from Nursery, Kindergarten, and Grades I - IV in its first year of operation under DepEd.
The Preschool and Grade School Departments were recognized by the DepEd in 1999 after meeting the requirements. St. John-Hill Academy had 151 students from Nursery to Grade VI in its fourth year of operation.
Visualizing the need to open the High School Department, the school owner had decided to secure a permit to operate, and fortunately, it was approved once again by the DepEd. The first two year levels were opened in the Academic Year 2001 - 2002, and the Fourth Year was opened in the Academic Year 2002 - 2003.
At present, St. John-Hill Academy has been successfully offering quality education in the following departments; (a) Pre-school Department (b) Grade School Department and (c) High School Department.
The demand for more students is due to the influx of residents from Morong, which has led to the school's expansion to what it is now, a growing institution striving for quality education and total formation of children leading to cultural, emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual development in order for them to become productive citizens of the country.
