LEARNING CONTINUITY PLAN

Our Learning Continuity Plan (LCP) details our school's print and digital pathways based on the learning objectives outlined in the content and course standards. The LCP serves as a guide for the continuation of teaching and learning in the event of a prolonged crisis.

ST. JOHN-HILL ACADEMY is committed to maintaining educational continuity in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic. We strive to provide a collaborative approach that instills hope in all of our stakeholders and encourages our students to grow holistically.

In preparation for this step toward the 'new normal,' we consulted materials and literature on the transition to flexible education and other related topics, such as preliminary measures for carrying out flexible education framework work.

As an overview, the Learning Continuity Plan employs distance learning, which challenges our students to access a variety of alternative learning experiences. In this plan, we are currently evaluating which of the learning technology programs, social media platforms, or email will be adopted as the school's network.

Our LCP is rooted in these three components,

  • Technology Framework

  • Teaching and Instructional Approach

  • Expectations

Our teachers contribute to the long-term success of this Plan by participating in decision-making and ensuring that it is properly implemented. They also help others by utilizing technology to share ideas and create lesson plans, as well as by actively engaging our students throughout their daily sessions. In accordance with this, we will provide training to our teachers while they are on in-service days.
